I read that there’s 6 million active mortgages in Canada with 1.2 million renewing every on average. The 2.4 million caught by this rapid mortgage rate increase are facing the worse of it, especially if they bought within the last five years.

Let’s see how many of them are investors and speculators. That would dictate the rate of sell off since they account for 2/5 condo mortgages since 2016/2017 (480,000 / yr).
